Yokohama Rubber’s Advan V61 tires coming factory-equipped on Nissan Elgrand

Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its ADVAN V61 tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Elgrand premium minivan that Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. launched in Japan in July 2026. The tire size is 235/60R18 103H.

The ADVAN V61 is the premium summer tire in Yokohama Rubber’s global flagship ADVAN brand range. It offers ADVAN’s hallmark premium-grade driving performance, along with a high-level balance of fuel efficiency, handling stability, and quietness, achieving both comfortable city driving and long-distance touring.

The new Elgrand is Nissan’s premium minivan, built to pair spacious comfort with engaging driving performance. The new model adopts the third-generation e POWER hybrid system, the enhanced e 4ORCE electric-drive all-wheel control technology, and the Intelligent Dynamic Suspension. These technologies improve ride comfort for every occupant while further elevating the “driving enjoyment” feature, delivering a grand touring experience that leaves them wishing to continue the journey for longer. The vehicle also features an advanced driver assistance system ProPILOT.

Under Yokohama Rubber’s three-year (2024–2026) medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), the consumer tire business aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added tires. One of the key initiatives under this strategy is promoting the global flagship ADVAN brand tires and the GEOLANDAR brand tires for SUVs and pickup trucks as original equipment for new cars.
